So I installed a new kitchen faucet and it came with a soap dispenser. I instantly knew I wanted to make a bulk adapter for this. First I found that ice maker line - 1/4" OD plastic tubing is a nice fit on the original soap dispenser straw. But to make sure it was leak proof I used a piece of 1/4" ID tubing. This piece barely fit even after letting it sit in boiling water for a few seconds. I made the ice maker line slide in as far as I could into the straw and made sure the other piece made a good seal. If yours doesn't just use a few hose clamps. I was lucky when I got my refill of hand soap that the normal hose is just the right size to allow the ice maker line slide in. To make sure it didn't create a vacuum, I drilled 2x 3/16" holes in the lid. |
