The current plan is to use Mythbuntu and utilize the datacenter for storage.

Mythbuntu took a dump on me a while back.  Thinking about reinstalling everything.  This time just use ubuntu LTS and install MythTV as a package.  This might fix some basic problems I was having just trying to get the machine to recognise my fileserver as a ligit volume.
